Being a 13TH century medieval town, it was built just like all others, with towers. Now, these are all considered true historical monuments and each year attracts more and more tourists.<\/p>\n<p>We decided to do a virtual tour of the city, a plan for a city break weekend.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s start from point 0 of Brasov, <strong>The Main Square<\/strong><br \/>\nHeret events are hosted and various manifestations depending on the season.<br \/>\nIn the middle of the square lies the <strong>Council House<\/strong>, the <strong>County Museum of history<\/strong>. Also in the Square we can visit the Church of Mary and the Muresenilor House.<\/p>\n<p>A representative symbol of Brasov is embodied by the black church, being one of the most representative monuments of Gothic architecture from Romania and the largest Gothic edifice of worship in South-Eastern Europe.<br \/>\nIn the Black Church can fit approximately 5.000 people. The building was partly destroyed by the fire in 1689; this incident gave the church this representative name.<\/p>\n<p>To visit this objective you will pay a fee of 10 lei, without Guide. Unfortunately, visitors cannot take pictures inside, but they can admire murals paintings and hear the music of an old organ that has 4.000 tubes.<br \/>\nWe recommend the famous Christmas concert where tickets are limited.<\/p>\n<p>Brasov fortress was built between the 13th and 17th century for the defense against the invasion of the Turks and Tatars. In the past, Brasov, have bastions connected by strong walls. The bastions were arranged at a distance of approximately 110 m distance from each other. In the glory days of the fortress, the fortifications had 28 towers, today are left only six.<br \/>\nIn Tampa, the so called &#8222;Walls\u201d, are two bastions, which exceed five meters in height.<\/p>\n<p>Brasov fortress was built between the 13th and 17th century for the defense against the invasion of the Turks and Tatars. In the past, Brasov had seven bastions connected by strong walls. The bastions were arranged at a distance of approximately 110 m distance from each other. In the glory days of the fortress, the fortifications had 28 towers, of which today are standing no more than six.<\/p>\n<p>The Rope Street is one of <strong>the narrowest streets in Europe<\/strong> and the narrowest in Eastern Europe; it was <strong>built in the 13th century<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The White Tower, it was maintained by the warriors and was affected by the fire of 1689, being rebuilt in the early 18th century.<\/p>\n<p>The Black Tower, located a few dozen meters from the White Tower, dates from the 15th century, to prevent attackers to approach the fortress walls of the city. Moreover, its high walls, over 10 meters gave an alarm in the event of danger, attack, or fire In the year 1559, black tower was struck by lightning and caught fire.
